If you’re able to arrive early enough on Thursday for Goodwood’s Moving Motor Show you might just be able to book yourself a slot to drive up the famous hillclimb course with one of the many manufacturers displaying their cars. Few mere mortals get the opportunity to drive up the hallowed tarmac at Goodwood – it’s more often reserved for F1 aces and motorsport heroes, such as a certain David Coulthard. The UK has only just got the British Villains video advert for the new Jaguar F-Type Coupe (it was broadcast earlier this week on ITV), but that’s just the start of Jaguar’s campaign to make the world aware that the new F-Type Coupe offers something a bit special. The next promo video for the F-Type Coupe - Art of Villainy - has already arrived and features Tom Hiddleston as the suave villain teaching us what it takes to be a proper villain. An opening voiceover of the John of Gaunt speech from Shakespeare’s Richard II (This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England..) sets the scene for an unashamedly patriotic push for the uniqueness of the F-Type Coupe.

Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR: the lowdown
As if the regular Dodge Viper, sorry, SRT10, wasn't hard enough, the Street and Racing Technology division at the Chrysler group's Detroit HQ have dreamed up a hardcore street-legal racing version. It's not for the faint-hearted, as you can tell from the angry body addenda and huge spoilers mounted on the already monstrous coupe. The ACR bit of the name denotes it's an American Club Racer spec car - it's the first use of the badge on a Viper since 1999.
